Here is a very uncomforting message from a pregnancy book I read: Damage (birth defects) - particularly during weeks three and seven of pregnancy - may occasionally occur when a temperature as low as 102 degrees is sustained for two or more days. My hospital stay happened when I was 4 weeks pregnant and I had a temperature of 102.9 degrees for just a day ~ but any fever can be a scare!
